You gotta be wise

Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds, try and keep your head up to the sky. Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears, stand up and be counted, don't be ashamed to cry. You gotta be, You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard, You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, You gotta stay together

Ronald Reagan

"Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide."

We were wanna be rebels who didn't have a clue, in our rock and roll tshirts and our, typically bad attitude.

I'm exhausted, but feel the need to update.

We to Uncle John and Aunt Val's yesterday. Had a nice day. Thank God that Livy is at that age where she LOVES kids and loves to watch the girls. We had steamed clams. I didn't realize I'd like them so much. Now I want more. haha. We also had Wine Sangria's, (YUUM), corn on the cob, chicken kabobs (which we super good), salt potatos, watermellon, and a super good cilantro salsa. it was so good. I want more. haha. I am now starving thinking about clams and cilantro salsa. To bad it is 8:37 in the morning. Maybe I will find a recipe for Cilantro Salsa, and get some clams and reincarnate the dinner we had yesterday. haha. Ok. I am just lame.

I don't even want to get into my frustration with Paul.

So, I won't.

I am leaving in 4 days. Holy Moly. I need to do some cleaning before then. Like, normal cleaning. Mop, again, since the girls spill Juice on a regular basis. LAUNDRY. that I have been putting off folding for like a year. (more like a week, but you get the point). Vin is pretty frustrated with my anti-laundry tactics. I will wash and dry it no problem, hell, I may even put away our clothes (altho he always does ours, while I get stuck with the girls.), but when it comes to the girls clothes, I let the clean clothes pile up in the basket for weeks until they either A.) run outta clothes or B.) Vin gets sick and tired of looking at a basket of clean clothes at the end of our bed. I just really hate folding and putting away the girls clothes. They have so many.
I also have to RE-Organize Gracie's dresser. AGAIN. Because she digs thru it, takes everything out to look for a certain object of clothing she wants, then either A.) leaves everything on the floor or B.) Leaves it all on her dresser, then I go thru and shove it all back in her dresser, with the hopes of going thru her clothes in the near future.
I also have to go thru their toys that are out here in the living room. I did a thorough cleaning of their room, which is now organized and clean. (altho, a lot less organized and clean then it was on Tuesday evening when I did it.

Did I mention how much I hate cleaning. sigh. Vin wants me to go thru the fridge (which I do on a weekly basis) and clean out all the leftovers we promise ourselves we will eat, but, ultimately end up wasting.

Vin doesn't realize how much cleaning I do during the day, and what the house WOULD look like at the end of the day if I didn't spend hours picking up their toys thru out the day, doing the dishes, and cleaning up all the messes they (or the animals) make. I should just NOT do anything one day, and let him see for himself that I do DO something, since he apparently thinks I sit home and do nothing all day.

sigh.

Until later <3
