Wow. I suck lately. Well, Since like November. I have not been writing in this. And blogging is like my favorite thing to do! I just worked 72 hours this week. Holy Crap. I still feel sleep deprived. Altho, I suck at sleeping, either way. I start my first night shift Thursday. I am terrified. ha.
Grandpa is in the hospital. St. Joes of all places. His cardiologist is there. ick. He has pnuemonia and I believe he is in a CHF exacerbation. He didn't say that, but I can tell. They may not have told him, who knows. He has CHF, and is def. symptomatic. :-(
I love my job. I am so thrilled to be able to say that. I look forward to going in everyday, and I love my pts. and I love helping them, and being able to explain things to them. I really hope I continue loving my job. It's a difficult floor. Hence the 56% turnover rate. Opposed to the hospital goal floor turnover rate of 17%. haha. I am getting so much experience already. It's nuts tho. At shift change people are still running around in mass chaos. But it is (usually) a controlled chaos.
We are going to AZ for next years spring break. I am pretty thrilled.
