You gotta be wise

Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds, try and keep your head up to the sky. Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears, stand up and be counted, don't be ashamed to cry. You gotta be, You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard, You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, You gotta stay together

Ronald Reagan

"Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide."

'Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable, And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table. No one can find the rewind button, girl. So cradle your head in your hands...And breathe... just breathe, Oh breathe, just breathe...

So. Went to the mall with the girls. Fun, as always. sigh. I can't wait til they are older and don't try to hide in EVERY clothes rack, and don't make me loathe every minute I am shopping. I got two new shirts for France. I am pleased. I hit the sales at JCP, and got 2 shirts for $24. not bad. lol.

I also then went to JBR and got Vin a new white gold cross for his necklace, which somehow broke. again. This is his third one. I don't get it. Altho my clasp broke on my chain, but I was able to get it repaired under the insurance we have on it. Altho, before I bought a new one, I should have brought his old one in to see if we could get it fixed. That one we got at Piercing Pagoda tho, so prolly not, last time we "fixed" the clasp somewhere it cost 30 dollars and broke anyways. ha.

I also got him the new Mike and Mike book ($26 at Borders!!! What a ripoff!) that he has been wanting. sigh. Altho I got "eat pray love", which looked good (nonfiction about a woman traveling thru different countries 'finding herself') AND I just found out, it is a movie. With my FAVORITE actress in it (Julia Roberts). So. I am psyched. I will prolly stop reading "the doctors wife" and read this book first, since I am not at the 'point of no return' on The Doctors Wife. lol.

I added music. Obviously. To this blog. Took me a while to figure out how to do it. But I love this song. A lot.

I am really going to miss the girls (and Vin) when I go. But I am still counting down the minutes to leaving, and not having to yell at the girls, or clean up their countless messes or do dishes or laundry, for FIVE WHOLE DAYS!!!!!

Clams were a success last night. yay.

I still need to go thru my dresser and get rid of clothes I will never/have never worn. I am AWFUL when it comes to getting rid of clothes. haha. I will put in ER and watch that while going thru clothes. Make it a little less tedious. or whatever. I don't think that is the word I want, but oh well.

Madalyn is such a tattle tale these days. Which I find hilarious. "Acie, no! Acie, no! Mommmy. Acccie! Go to your room, Acie!"

hahah ("Acie" being "gracie" obviously.)
She is always telling her to go to her room, or clean her room. I guess I say those phrases a lot. haha.

Ok. Until later <3
