Stupid headache....go away....I have ALOT to do today....

psyched about CAMP!!

I almost backed out of cutting my hair to "save money" and then I was like "grow a pair, Silver. It's not to 'save money' it's cuz you are chicken shit." so, I pep talked myself back into getting my hair cut this afternoon at four. It's not the hair cut. I like my hair like that. It's the in between phase where my hair looks stupid, after I stopped getting it retouched, or whatever. I HATE that phase. So, IDK. I guess I am still back and forth on this, apparently.

I am really sad about having to leave Rolo and Whiskies. Poor Whiskers will be here all by herself for a week. What if she thinks we abandoned her?  What if Rolo thinks we are leaving her there forever? Ok. I need to stop being a baby about my animals. haha. . :-(

ok. this time. I am really not coming back until July 10th or 11th.

T minus one day

At this time tomorrow we will (hopefully) be on the road, or almost on the road. I am SOOOOO psyched!!! In a little bit I will getting Rolo and the girls in the car and heading to Fulton to drop Rolo off. I'm gonna miss her :-(  I need to repack the girls suitcases and see if I can get it into one duffel bag. I may have to leave out some of their winter clothes for bed. Like Vin said, they can wear their pjs more than one day, even their pants, since they will only be wearing pants until like 9 when it gets warmer out. haha.

I have a freakin headache. gosh. well, i don't have much to say except we didn't go to cici's. the line was out the freakin door!!! holy crap. ok.

Vin went to return the bottles to see how much we get. we are using it for gas. We have been saving for months-ever since the water started having a deposit- for camp. I am very excited. We go thru atleast a case of water a week. So think of all the money. we had a LOT of bags of bottles!

I have nothing else to say, except we are going to Cici's tonight. I am pysched. I haven't gone there since I lived in Fl. Everyother Friday I would go get my paycheck, go pay my car payment, and go to cici's and then Hershey's. haha. a miracle I didn't get huuuuge. haha. And then of course all the times we went to Ryan's and waffle house and everywhere else I ate out at everyday. haha.

We are getting ready to go to walmart and get the last stuff we need and the stuff for my brother's package and some septic tank deoderizer for my dad's septic tank thingy on the camper. haha.

It's almost time for the girls bedtime, and Vin isn't even home yet, and we still ahve a bunch of places to go. ANNNNNDDDD They'll still wake up at 6 tomorrow.

I've been yelling at Gracelyn for 3 days to clean her room. I did it today.

I have to mail out my financial aid stuff to Peter today.

School starts in less than two months. holy crap.

3 weeks after Camp, I go to France. Right after I get back from camp I have to start going to the lab to practice my 'skills' again. Less than two weeks from my return, I start my LAST semester at Crouse (i better not jinx myself).

Ok. that's it. I am just really restless and excited for camp. Tomorrow is going to go quickly. So is tonight, if vin ever gets home from work, because we will be going to the store for the LAST time before camp!! YAY!! Omg. I can't wait. a whole week up in the quietness and peacefulness and beautifulness of the Adirondaks. I CAN NOT wait to wake up in the morning and see the lake all covered with fog, and the sun coming up and lifting the fog. YAYYYYYY.

So. I am 100% psyched about camping. Like OMG psyched. I feel like I'm 14 when I use OMG, but oh well. ha. I am getting my hair cut tomorrow! And today, we are paying our rent in cash, this way we don't have to worry about when it came out and how much we have since we won't have internet access to check the bank account. well. my dad has it on his phone, but it's not the same. I am going to give the landlord the run down on the cat. PRetty m,uch, she just has to make sure that she has food and water and is still alive. haha. I doubt she'll come out for her. When we first got whiskies she hated us and HID all day long (she managed to squeeze under the fridge one night. it was awful, took us an hour to pull her out, and she got stuck). now she'll come out in the mornign when the kids (and dog) are calm and lay in the window, but when the girls start getting rowdy she takes off for the bedroom, and is in there all day excpet the girls nap time she comes out and hangs with me. and bed time. she comes out while we are watching a movie, and then in the bedroom she is all over us, lovin' us. haha. or bringing us things so that she can play fetch. haha. I kinda hope she doesn't come out, cuz Gail (the landlord) will pick her up and whiskers isn't declawed and that was gail's only stipulation.

well. I am off to make breakfast and watch The L Word, that is still on Watch Instantly! For the last week it's been saying "only available til July 1" It doesn't say that anymore. so ha. they were lying, trying to make me watch it alot. it worked. haha.

I need to pack my clothes, and do some laundry and clean gracie's room. and the bathroom. i think that is really all that needs to be done. and the dreaded dishes. sigh. but mostly, I hate laundry. double sigh. I don't mind washing and drying it, that's easy. it's the folding. i HATE folding clothes, esp. the girls clothes. Vin folds our clothes and it's my 'job' to fold theirs and put them away.

I am going to get stuff for my brother's package tonight. Sock, baby wipes and baby powder, and some pudding snackpacks and random different snack items. Chris said that they love American Snacks and any would be appreciated. I figure since he's over there fighting for our country the least I can do is throw some snack packs into the package, along with the regular stuff I send.'

I was telling Jami how much I love this song. Idk why. I listen to it year round, and it's on my itunes playlist that I listen to most often. haha. It's on there along with my shinedown, the script, alanis, boyhitscar, lisa loeb, journey, taylor swift, bruce springsteen, john mellancamp, cranberries, and select Christian bands. haha. I have such an eclectic taste in music.


Packing. I hate packing. But, I love making lists. So it is worth it. I make lists for EVERYTHING. I make lists just to make lists. They don't help keep me organized, well they do. but organized for me, not for the normal person. My 'organized' is still chaos for the everyday human being. haha.
I can't explain why I like writing lists. I have no OCD or organization skills, I just like to write. haha. 


So, Today, I packed up the girls clothes for camp. and when I say their clothes, I mean their clothes. pretty much all of them. hahah. I am not kidding. I packed a LOT of sweats and long pj's and feetie pj's and long sleeved shirts, and a few pants. They have more winter clothes packed than shorts. haha. It gets sooo cold up there that I am not satisfied unless they are wearing 3 layers (atleast) at night. Then I packed like all of their shorts and short sleeved shirts/tank tops, along with every bathing suit they own. shoot. I forgot socks for night time. ha. ::writes 'socks' on list:: I may have gone overboard on their clothes, but I would rather them have to many than not enough layers, or dirty up all their shorts and not have any to wear.


I am also working on packing toys (such as their little people/vehicles) stuff they can play without side, but also books and coloring books and stuff in case it rains. We got Madalyn a flashlight that looks like a dinosaur and "roars" when you push its tail and it opens its mouth and the light comes on. haha.


We have to go get a few more things tomorrow at walmart, such as diapers (how'd I even forget those? ha.) and Vin's fishing license and some lunch meat. Then Friday, I have to run Rolo to Fulton around 1130ish, and stop and see June real quick. Vin gets out at 330 (I have to pick him up since we have one vehicle for now), and then I have my hair appt with my Friends mom at 4. That is over on 6th north and Court, so it is like 5 minutes away, thankfully. THEN we have to pack up the car, so we can leave around 7 on Saturday. We obviously can't pack the cold food/cooler, but really we can pack everything else. 


It is so close, I am so excited. It is good that i have that to look forward to, because Gracie has REFUSED to clean her room for the last three days. I gave the floors a good mopping last night, and I have to do the dishes and some picking up and laundry today and tomorrow, and then we should be good! Our Landlord is going to watch the Cat, I think. I will miss Rolo, but I know she will be in good hands :)


Well, I am off to put the kids down, and then watch "The L Word" and eat some Cherries. haha.

This is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world.

So. I don't have much to talk about today. Ok. That is a lie. I just don't want to post because the girls are (supposed to be) napping and I want to watch The L Word in peace and quiet.

Vins car got hit (for the third time) by the Truck across the street. The first two were little and there was no red paint on his truck, so really, we couldn't do anything. But, Hello. they didn't even come over and like apologize or anything. Ik his car is crappy (especially since I backed into it 2 years ago, like, really bad), but it's just the whole courtesy thing. This time, there was ALOT of red paint on the bumper, and A HUGE dent and white paint all on the back drivers side panel. We called the cops, mostly, just outta principal. No sense getting the dent out, because the huge dent (all on the same side) that I made already makes the car look like shit, but we are going to take it to get looked at make sure that they didn't damage the struts or anything cuz SHE (the guys girlfriend, who just turned 21, has no license, and is apparently a really bad driver) pushed the car sideways 4-5 inches. It DUG UP DIRT on the lawn next to the driveway, yet she WASN'T SURE if she hit a car. WTF? She said she checked her bumper and didn't see anything. uhm. yeah. I could see the red paint from across the street. and it was 8pm, (she said) so, it was still light out. It must of been RIGHT after Vin got home. yeah. bitch.

She got charged with leaving the scene of an accident, backing unsafely, and driving with a suspended license.

Seriously. If they had just come over and apologized (for the third time) of hitting the car, we prolly wouldn't ahve called the police. it's a 96 chevy corsica. It's worth Crap. But still, we were pissed that she blatantly hits his car repeatedly and drive away.

I have a monsterous headache. Excedrine Tension Headache here I come.

Sitting down with The L Word, some floss, and eventually doing the HUGE load of kids clothes I have to fold.

It's my parents 25th anniversary! YAY!!! And they are at camp. My dad is going to take her out on the canoe (like for their honey moon when they went camping) and then they are going to sit by the fire, and my dad is going to give her the mother's ring her got made for her. awww. I love my parents.

So. Jami and Thane came over yesterday (like every Sunday) and we made brunch, took the kids swimming, played APples to Apples and watched the boys play some soccer game that apparently required them to make a lot of funny faces. haha. We love the goldbergs. it's nice to have like a standing date with another nice couple that requires to absolutely nothing but hang out and relax.

We leave in 5 days! YAY!! I am soooo pysched!

I am trying to figure out what to do about birth control. I have to switch to orth tri cylcen, becuz I can't afford yasmine anymore, and my gyn requires checkups every 4 months. seriously? All she does is check my blood pressure and dipstick my urine. Seriously? I am going to nursing school, there are 300 ppl there that can check my blood pressure. it's never been above 112 anyways. Hell. I can check my own blood pressure. AND I pay outta pocket. AND I owe them like 250 dollars. so yeah. I need to find a new way to get my birth control. I have 2 weeks left of yasmine and only one month of ortho tri cyclen. so yeah. I need to do something, or we will have a baby. and I don't want one right now. so. yeah. i guess I am just going to have to fork out the money when we get back from camp. but, not only is it the money, its that vin doesn't get outta work til like 7 and obviously the office is closed before then. AND I don't want to pay like 50 bucks to send them to daycare so I can go get my birth control script. ack.

anyways. Time to watch the L word. I am sure I will be back later. ahha.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

So. Last night at my parents house, I was going in to go to the bathroom, and there was a plastic grocery bag on the ground, so I sorta stepped over it/walked thru it. It wasn't a plastic bag. Under it was a (sharp) metal pole. It cut my leg pretty bad. My dad said that he put the bag over it, so everyone would see it. Yeah, I saw it. I thought it was a grocery bag. ha. It hurt like hell. So I limped my way into the bathroom, came out, limping back outside, and stubbed my toe (hard!) on the door stop. WTF? It hurt like hell! So now my leg is bandaged, and my toe still hurts. haha.

The Goldberg's are coming over, and I am making brunch. I friggen love breakfast! I think I am going to go get some potatoes cuz I love homefries. Waffles, Bacon, OJ and homefries. What a mix. haha.

I REALLY want to get my haircut today, cuz now that I have decided to, I don't want to chicken out before Friday. I just want to get it done NOW.

Oh yeah, did I mention I have to get new pants, because the only ones that fit my properly now have a huge hole in the left leg from the 'grocery bag'? ha. I will prolly just sew them up for camp, then I don't have to worry about ruining them. They are my fave. So if they look decent, I'll wear them in public. God. I need to go shopping. I have 3 jean skirts I wear a lot, a pair of shorts, (well, I have 'lounging' shorts, but they are rather hoochie) and now 1 pair of pants that are REALLY tight, and a pair with a HUGE whole. haha. I hate shopping, tho. And shopping with the girls, I ahte even more. So that leaves me Zero time to shop. ha. Maybe in France I will. Yeah right. That's at the end of the month when we are broke. haha. perfect timing. Vin's pay check this coming Thursday will be at least 1500, if not more. I am pretty darn excited. This week was good at almost a 1000. Which is mostly gone, I must say. It went to camping stuff and delivery. haha. JK. It went to camping stuff. All that little stuff we had to buy, costs a lot. like Totes and Tiki Torch oil, and Coolers, and crap, oh yeah, and wine. haha.

Well, I'm gonna make some COffee and pick up a little.
