You gotta be wise

Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds, try and keep your head up to the sky. Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears, stand up and be counted, don't be ashamed to cry. You gotta be, You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard, You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, You gotta stay together

Ronald Reagan

"Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide."

Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you?

Scooby is Madalyn's favorite show. I ask her what she wants to watch and she says "scoohee doo" hhaa.

We have to run to walmart today to pick up pics and get a few last minute things for the trip. (including pics of Vin and the girls I developed into wallet size so I can take them with me. Yeah. I am lame. haha.

Vin wants me to clean off my desk, and out the closet today. haha. I have a lot of clutter on the desk, and the girls destroyed the front hall closet. sigh.

I really, really like this Macbook. it is spectacular. except it has a weird mouse thing, and I can't figure out how to left click to fix my spelling. sigh.

Dad got me this super cool laptop backpack thingy to. It has like a million pockets and it is 'airport security handy'. like you can unzip it ad show your laptop without having to take it out. cool beans. I dn't think I am taking it to France tho.

my laptop backpack dad got me

my laptop with all the programs.

I am totally psyched. haha. obviously. my parents rock. And, school has wifi, so I can always bring it with me to and do all my crap in the lounge, AND eat, instead of in the library where I can't eat. haha. Yes, my life is inconvenienced when I can't eat. haha.

Eat Pray Love seems like it's going to be really good. I am only on page 40ish. It made me actually giggle outloud last night tho.

I have been sleeping (or not sleeping) awfully bad lately. I hope I sleep better tonight, seeing as how I leave tomorrow at 1230!! OMGOSH! I am so excited.

Ok. So, when I get back we are going back to church. we went every sunday for years, but then we moved to Syracuse, and we still went to our church in Fulton cuz we went down anyways to see Laurie. And then laurie died and paul became pyschotic, so we stopped going down because he stopped being a normal father, and was to tired from being out partying all night to make time for his son and daughter in law and family.

we went to the church around the corner for a few weeks, but they seemed more like a cult than I care for. We went every Sunday for a month, but they kept dropping hints about "why weren't we at the evening services, THREE NIGHTS A WEEK?" ok. sorry guys, but during the school year (esp. when we have to leave the house at quarter of 6 twice a week to get to the daycare on clinical days) the girls go to bed at 7 (and usually so do I.) and the evening services don't start til 730, and SECOND of all. Don't make me feel guilty for only going to church one day a week. goodness. so. we prolly won't go back to that church.

we just want a normal church to go to on Sundays. one that won't make me feel like a bad person if I only go to church once a week. seriously people. I doubt God cares if I don't go to the evening services. Really. Come on, now. Crazy people. Cult people. haha. ok.

I am so excited. have I mentioned that? Dad and I are going to have so much fun. not to mention the fact that HELLO, IT MONACO! On the MEDATERANEAN SEA. Ok. I didn't spell it right the first time that time, and I don't know how to left click to fix it, so deal with it. ha. AND We are IN a sailing Regatta!! WE ARE RACING A SAILBOAT! To bad I have never been on anything bigger than a pontoon boat. hahah. AND I am taking an EIGHT HOUR COOKING CLASS in FRANCE! SUPER DUPER PSYCHED!! AND I AM GOING TO BE EXHAUSTED from the time difference. we start our day at 230 am our time (830 am Monaco time).

I asked dad if they would have a blow dryer there of if I should bring one, and he calmly says (without laughing, to, I must give him credit) "Silver, we are staying at a resort in Monaco, not a motel 6" haha. ok. so I have never traveled (outside of Canada and NC and Fl). My dad is king of traveling, flying 2 days a week, at least and staying in hotels mon thru fri.

Gracie is using 'big girl' words like adorable, dorky, beautiful, crazy, lovable, ect. haha. When Vin gets home, I follow him into the bedroom and we talk while he changes and showers and stuff, and Gracie stuck her head in the bedroom the other day and I was giving Vin a hug and we were talking about our day and Gracie goes "are you loving daddy again?" HAHA. she is a riot.

I really must go now. But I LOVE this computer! Holy Crap. The only laptop I ever had was one that dad built for me when i was living in Fulton when Gracie was a baby. This is 99 million times better than that! This is like, super wonderful AND FASTER than our desktop Mac, and has MORE memory, A LOT more than our desktop. CRAZINESS! haha. ok. I will stop raving about this thing now. But, seriously, it is awesome. If only i could figure out how to left click.

off to Walmart to grab some stuff that I forgot yesterday. Like papertowels. Life is messy without paper towels. we are completely outta papertowels. and napkins. and I forgot to get some yesterday. Thank God for baby wipes. haha.

Until later <3
