You gotta be wise

Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds, try and keep your head up to the sky. Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears, stand up and be counted, don't be ashamed to cry. You gotta be, You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard, You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, You gotta stay together

Ronald Reagan

"Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide."

And we were trying different things We were smoking funny things Making love out by the lake to our favorite song Sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long

So. I did some research (like I would of had Vin informed me he was going to Devry), on account of Jami, and sure enough. ALL BAD REVIEWS. Ranging from bad to AWFUL. Let's see if we get our 50 dollar application fee back. ($50. really? It's an ONLINE school. For Crouse it was on $30.) They said we would.

Vin's friend works at the admission department. She is prolly going to hate my fb post, but oh well. I found like 3 good reviews. One of them said "Devry is a grate school". Grate? Seriously. Are you kidding me. Must be a wunderfle skool. haha.

I have applied at CCC and OCC online for him. He doesn't know what he wants to do, so at least this way he can get his liberal arts done (cheaply) and online. I figure have him only take one or two classes to start since he hasn't gone in 5 years.

We have a birthday party for our nameless neighbors son (whose name is Christopher). I hope some how we don't get put on the spot by not knowing his name. We have known our neighbors for 2 years. They ahve given the girls soccer balls, and their pool, and always come over and chat with us when we are outside, and give us fresh vegetables. I am afraid, it is far past the polite time to ask their name. Maybe after the first week we could of. Or the first month. Hell, even the first year. But.....we are on 2 years now of being friends with our nameless neighbors. haha.

I have bought all the stuff to make Artichoke Rissotto and Vegetable Bayladi tomorrow. I am excited. It is easy to pick the vegetables you don't like out (Jami), so don't worry. I hate artichokes, but the rissotto taste nothing like it (may be the 3 lbs of cream in it. haha). However, I am excited to test the method of peeling (i forget the right word) artichokes. I did it at the class, not very well, but I did! lets see if the food comes out edible. If not....we always have delivery! haha.

I am making cornflake bars tonight, as well.

My dad is on his way over to get his luggage, and the coffee table book of the French Rivera that his company got him (the book musta cost at least a hundred bucks, but I have real life pictures and experience that I think are better. haha.)

I have something funky going on with my eye. I think it may be a sty. on the top and bottom lid. great. it is getting pretty darn painful. sigh. HOw do I keep getting sty's? I swear. My eyes were super dry and bloodshot everyday when I woke up in the hotel as well. I think I may be allergic to the goose feather pillows and comforter. or something.

well. dad's almost here.

au revoir
